Make Next Season Your Best One Yet.
Our 10 week women’s AFL off-season program will show you how to improve your strength, speed and power so you can bulletproof your body and dominate your competition.
Our team have been trusted by:
Women’s footy players are 9x more likely to rupture an ACL than their male counterparts.
The saying goes the best ability is availability, and currently; their is an availability crisis gripping women’s AFL, at all levels.
If you currently play, then you know what I’m talking about. Has there been a match this season where a teammate hasn’t gone down with a serious injury? Whether it be a season ending ACL, or a soft tissue injury that requires months on the sidelines; I’m betting that you’ve seen them all (or worse - have been a casualty yourself).
There is a reason why the AFLW have introduced a national injury prevention program, aimed at providing clubs with the resources to help female players reduce their injury risk, and improve their performance. They have recognised that it is a serious problem, and one that needs addressing - fast. But there’s a problem…
Unless you are fortunate enough to play for an AFLW club, those resources don’t filter through to you. You’re left to navigate the maze that is strength and conditioning, and injury prevention…on your own. Maybe your club has an S&C coach that takes a session or two per week on the field… but it’s a generic program completely non-specific to you.
Or perhaps you have access to a general physio, but all you get is a couple of visits and a few ‘rehab’ exercises written on a piece of paper…after you’ve already been injured.
Granted, having some level of support is certainly better than doing it all by yourself - but there is a reason why clubs at the highest level place a huge emphasis on properly prescribed and integrated S&C and injury prevention work…especially in the off- and pre-season.
Because it has been proven to decrease risk of sustaining a serious injury…
That’s Where We Come In.
We have developed a completely integrated high-performance off season program aimed specifically at bulletproofing the women’s footy athlete against the typical injuries sustained whilst playing, and taking their performance to a new level.
We will uncover your strengths, weaknesses and blindspots with our Performance Plan™, so you’ll be confident your problem areas are going to be improved.
You’ll get a completely individualized training program, not a generic ‘cookie cutter’ to complete on your own at your local big box gym.
You’ll get full access to our coaching timetable, so you never have to second guess if you’re training correctly.
And, you’ll have our experienced sports physio team here available to you, so any niggles you may have don’t turn into time on the sidelines.
The program runs for 10 weeks.
You Don’t Have To Be A Pro Athlete To Train Like One.
Never been into a high performance training environment before? Don’t have any experience in a gym? Maybe even feeling a little nervous, or apprehensive?
We’ve got you.
Our 10 week program is suitable for everyone, even if you’ve never stepped foot into a gym environment before. Our expert and supportive coaches will guide you every step of the way.
When you join our Women’s AFL Off-Season Program, you will have every single tool at your disposal to ensure you are the most athletic version of yourself you can possibly be. The program runs for 10 weeks.
Our Off-Season Program Explained.
-
If you aren’t assessing, you’re guessing… and we don’t believe that any athlete should be relying on guesswork. Every athlete that starts working with us receives their own unique Performance Plan™ - a detailed strategy that clearly outlines how to develop your strength, power and speed to improve your overall athleticism. Your Performance Plan™ is based on the results of your testing, so it is completely unique to you and your body. During the testing, we will help you:
Pinpoint the weaknesses that are holding you back and bulletproof them once and for all.
Identify the blind spots in your performance and discover how to turn them into opportunities that will enhance your sports performance.
Reveal the strengths that make you a talented athlete
By the end of the testing experience, we’ll know how to help you get an edge and advantage on your competition.
-
Using the data from your Performance Plan™, you will have a program written by our expert coaches that is 100% specific and tailored to you and your schedule.
All your strength and power training, fitness and conditioning, and sprint mechanics will be customised based on what you need to maximise your potential for next footy season. Once written, you will move into a 1:1 session with your performance coach - we call this our onboarding session.
This session will step you through your program so you are totally comfortable and confident in all the movements before joining our semi-private training sessions.
-
It’s so important to fuel your body for optimal performance, which is why your next onboarding session takes the form of a consultation with our Sports Dietitian, Alexandra. If you’re like most footy athletes, you know ‘roughly’ that you should be eating ‘healthily’ - but you’re not that sure exactly what that looks like. During your consultation, you will learn:
Exactly what you should be eating for your body, sport and goal; so you can get the 1% edge over your competition (a majority of them aren’t on top of their nutrition)
Critical tools around how to eat for optimal recovery, so you can be as fresh as possible for every training session and game day.
How to fuel your body optimally pre and post-game, so you can step out next to your opponent, full of confidence that you already have the edge over them.
-
You’re now ready to begin training in our Athlete Development sessions. Surrounded by a group of like-minded, motivated athletes and being coached by an expert S&C coach is what you can expect once you start your training.
-
We believe that if you don't measure, you cannot manage. At the end of your 10 week program, you will undergo a full performance re-testing protocol - measuring your progress you've made over the course of the program.
So, Why Should I Do The Program?
You’ll be bulletproofing your body from injury
Targeted strength exercises based off your testing results means you’ll dramatically reduce your injury risk, and possess a confidence in your body like you’ve never felt before.
You’ll be running faster, jumping higher and changing direction quicker
Imagine lining up next to your opponent knowing you’re going to beat them to every contest, out mark them in every contest, and evade every tackle they try to lay on you.
You’ll be putting yourself WAY ahead of your competitors
In our experience, only a very select few women’s footy players do high performance programs like this. Put yourself ahead of the pack.
You’ll be hitting targets with precision you’ve never felt before
Developing your lower body power means you’ll add distance & a laser-like precision to your kicking.
You’ll be feeling strong in both mind & body
Picture this: it’s 10 weeks from now, and you’re the strongest, fastest, fittest version of yourself you’ve ever been. How would that make you feel?
