As kids, it’s obvious to most parents that they should participate in a wide variety of sports — exposing them to as many different opportunities as possible puts them in the best stead for adolescence. But things get difficult during adolescence.
Growing bodies become susceptible to injury; higher levels of sports demand more from our kids, and the pressure of progress starts to weigh down on our kids shoulders. This creates an environment where most kids are set up to fail — they are pushed too hard, for too long, until they break.

Helping athletes jump, land, run, push, pull and be injury resilient is one of the most valuable tools in a sporting parents arsenal — it can keep them going while the kids around them take time off. While most athletes simply do ‘more and more training’, our athletes allocate a percentage of their training week to learning how to move well… because that’s one of the best ways to prevent injuries.
It’s also one of the best ways to set them up for success as an adult athlete wanting to become professional — if they are going to make it, they need every advantage they can find.

When your child joins our Junior Athlete Development Program, they will have every single tool at their disposal to ensure they safely build strong foundations, improve their sporting performance, and most importantly - can play the sport they love for as long as they desire.

Every junior that starts working with us receives their own unique Performance Plan™ - a detailed strategy that clearly outlines how to develop their strength, power and speed to improve overall athleticism. Their Performance Plan™ is based on the results of their testing, so it is completely unique to them and their body. During the testing, we will help your child

By the end of the testing experience, we’ll know how to help your child get an edge and advantage on their competition, and be the very best athlete they can be.

Using the data from their Performance Plan™, you child will have a program written by our expert coaches that is 100% specific and tailored to them and their schedule.
All their strength and power training, fitness and conditioning, and sprint mechanics will be customised based on what they need to maximise their potential for their sport. Once written, your child will move into two 1:1 sessions with their performance coach - we call these our onboarding sessions.
These sessions will step your child through their program so they are totally comfortable and confident in all the movements before joining the Junior ADP semi-private training sessions.

Your child is now ready to begin training in our dedicated Junior Athlete Development sessions. Surrounded by a group of like-minded, motivated junior athletes and being coached by an expert S&C coach is what you can expect once your child starts training. Every 6 weeks they will be re-tested, and based on the results of the re-test, will have their program assessed and updated.

We believe that if you don't measure, you cannot manage. This is why every 6 weeks, your child will undergo a full performance re-testing protocol - ensuring we are maintaining the correct course toward their goal. Your child's progress will be objectively measured, and program updated accordingly.

Our coaches have elite level experience
Our coaches have worked with athletes and teams at the highest level, including Coates Talent League (Formerly TAC Cup), VFL, AFL, A-League and State. If your child wants to know what it takes to reach the elite level, they need to be coached by those that actually have the knowledge.
Small session sizes
Our sessions are capped at 6 junior athletes. This ensures they are getting close and personal attention paid to their technique, effort and progress. They will also enjoy the motivation of be surrounded by a group of like-minded athletes all on the same journey.
Individualised programs
You won't find any cookie cutter, generic programs here. An online 'sport specific' program might sound good, but how specific can it really be when thousands of people are all doing it? A general group fitness class might also sound good, but do you see any elite junior athletes doing them? The top junior performers follow a program specific to them for a reason, which is why your program here is written by expert coaches and 100% tailored to your child’s goals, sport and schedule.
Comprehensive performance testing
Our performance testing protocol has been designed to replicate the testing and assessments at the elite level. Through objective data, we will give you an in-depth understanding of your child’s strengths, weaknesses, areas to improve on. Most importantly, we’ll use that data to design their individualised program to turn those weaknesses into strengths, and help them remain injury free and loving their sport.
Access to a dietitian
Fuelling your child’s body for optimum performance and recovery is an area that is commonly overlooked. Proper nutrition is crucial for keeping your child robust & injury free, as our Dietitian Alexandra will be able to show you. With experience at the Geelong Cats VFL side, she brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience at the elite level.

There is an initial investment of $149 prior to commencing the JADP. This covers your child’s two 1:1 private onboarding sessions with their performance coach.

In order to see genuine improvements, you'll need to invest time and effort into your training. For this reason, we operate in 6 month commitment blocks. There is no pay as you go/casual option available.

We require two weeks written notice for all membership suspensions. You may only pause your child’s membership for up to 4 weeks per 6 month block.

Unlimited. Your child’s program will dictate how many sessions per week you'll need to complete, depending on their schedule.

Yes. Every program is 100% tailored to the individual junior athlete, their goals, and their schedule.

Yes. Your child’s program will involve specific speed and agility work at a nearby athletics track.

Yes. Every 6 weeks your child will complete a Performance Test to measure their improvements. Their program will then be adjusted accordingly.

Our Junior ADP takes any athletes from ages of 11 onwards, however if you are younger we are happy to assess your application on a case by case basis.
